flower power, pink peonies power

Dear reader,

Peonies just scream classiness, don’t they? Well, probably not scream, but you get the idea.

One day, I just hope to have a garden full of pink peonies!

They really are such romantic flowers, but I find a power in their beauty, in their elegance, in their essence.

  1. We have three pink peony bushes in our front yard. Our last Indiana yard had six white peony bushes. Yes, they’re beautiful! I love them! Their bloom is temporary and quick! But, the thing no one seems to mention, is that big black, shiny ants open the peonies, and that means ants come with them 😉 Still, beautiful and fragrant!

  2. Agree! They’re to die for. In Edmonton, they bloom in late June, just before other perennials take off. I had several in the house I moved from 4 years ago. They take a while to establish but are worth the effort. I know I have one in the home too, it was blooming when I moved in, late last June. They’re very reliable here, albeit slow to the show.
