Do you ever associate emotions with colours?
I think it’s natural to do that. And probably cliche as well.
I associate the emotion of rage with the colour red.
Not just plain, ol’ red though.
Red like a telephone booth set on fire.
Red like a hot chile that boils in your blood.
Red like a whirling alarm, blaring out into empty space.
Anger is part of being human. Rage is the next step.
Learning to control that anger, or even that rage, can be challenging.
How do you control these emotions? How can you make the colours a little less vivid and a little more muted? Or maybe how can you shift the focus of that vividness to a more constructive outlet?
Creativity? I think that is one option. 🙂
