Singer: Imelda May
Song: “Big Bad Handsome Man”
Album: Love Tattoo

I love Imelda May’s rockabilly, oldie-but-actually-a-newbie vibe. The trumpets section is fun. Her lyrics are seductive. The ending is perfection with the soft, jazzy conclusion. Such an awesome song to dance to! Truly, a pure delight that you can listen to over and over again.

Simply put—a classic.

  1. Love this! Thanks for sharing! She reminds me a bit of Duffy singing Mercy. This is such a wonderful old sound and I am so grateful that some of the younger vocalists continue to keep it alive today. Still devastated over the death of Amy Winehouse . . .

P.S. Thanks for the “follow”! 🙂
