The Winter 2017 Bucket List

Although the first day of winter isn’t until December 21st, it sure does feel like winter. With Christmas coming soon and long nights, having a list of activities to do is a sure way to warm your heart this winter. Bucket lists are a fun way to spark some fun in your life as well as friends’ and family’s lives. Here are some ideas of what you can add to your winter 2017 bucket list:

1. Have a lodge vacation

Vacationing to a lodge can be a blast if you enjoy skiing, relaxing at spas, shopping, or eating. Take the Cliff Lodge for example. At this modern, alpine hotel, there are incredible mountain views that will make you feel on top of the world.

2. Go snowmobiling

Maybe skiing isn’t your thing. But have you tried snowmobiling? Companies, such as Backcountry Snowmobiling, offer private, group, and company-excursions for snowmobiling tours through the woods of Park City.

3.  Listen to the radio

Christmas music is so infectious. Turn on your favorite station, and relax. Or get busy wrapping presents.

Invite some friends or neighbors over, and have everybody bring soup to share with everyone. Here are some family-favorite recipes to try.

8.  Go ice skating

Hit a local ice-skating rink and test out some some skates. New to ice skating? Here are some tips for newbies.

9. Complete a puzzle

For New Year’s every year, my family works on a puzzle. We put out a card table, and leave it out for about a week. Whenever we have a minute, we work on it—together or separately. It’s become a fun tradition.
